The Second Principle
Inheritance has gravity.
What is established does not hold itself.
Without attention, it fades. Without effort, it declines.
Strength diminishes when unused.
Clarity dulls when unattended.
Habits return when not replaced.
Left alone, everything returns to default.
The Second Principle is simple to state and difficult to live:
Inheritance has gravity.
What is not actively maintained returns to default.
